Permanently delete your VocaFlip account and data

⚠️ Important Warning

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Before proceeding, please note:

  • All your study progress will be permanently deleted
  • Your custom words and collections will be lost
  • Your learning statistics and achievements will be removed
  • Any premium subscription will be cancelled
  • You will not be able to recover your account or data

How to Delete Your Account

Method 1: Delete from the App (Recommended)

  1. Open the VocaFlip app on your device
  2. Go to Settings (gear icon)
  3. Scroll to the Account section
  4. Tap Delete Account
  5. Read the warning message carefully
  6. Confirm by tapping Delete Account and All Data

This is the fastest method and ensures immediate deletion of your local data.

Method 2: Delete via Email

Send an email to privacy@takemeway.studio with:

  • Subject: "Account Deletion Request - VocaFlip"
  • Your registered email address
  • Your user ID (found in Settings → Account)

We will process your request within 48 hours and send confirmation.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

Immediately: Your account is deactivated and you're signed out

Within 24 hours: Your personal data is removed from active systems

Within 30 days: All data is permanently deleted from backups
4
After 30 days: No trace of your account remains in our systems

In accordance with legal requirements, we may retain:

Export Your Data First

Before deleting your account, you can export your data:

  1. Go to Settings → Account
  2. Tap Export My Data
  3. Choose the format (JSON or CSV)
  4. Save the file to your device

Reactivation Policy

Once your account is deleted, it cannot be reactivated. If you want to use VocaFlip again, you'll need to create a new account and start fresh.
