What are the four German cases?+
German has four grammatical cases: Nominativ (subject), Akkusativ (direct object), Dativ (indirect object), and Genitiv (possession). KasusDeutsch helps you practice recognizing and using all four.
How do the game modes work?+
Article Transformation: Fill in the blank with the correct article (der, die, das, den, dem, des). Case Detective: Identify which grammatical case is used for the highlighted word in a sentence.
What do the CEFR levels mean?+
CEFR levels indicate difficulty: A1 (beginner), A2 (elementary), B1 (intermediate), B2 (upper intermediate). Start with A1-A2 if you're new to German cases.
How do I reset my progress?+
Go to the Profile tab, scroll to Actions, and tap "Reset Progress". This will clear all your statistics and start fresh. Note: This cannot be undone.
Why did my streak reset?+
Your streak counts consecutive days of practice. If you miss a day, the streak resets. Complete at least one session daily to maintain your streak.
Can I use the app offline?+
Yes! All 27,000+ questions are stored locally on your device. You can practice anywhere without an internet connection.
How do I enable/disable hints?+
Go to Profile → Preferences and toggle "Hints" on or off. When enabled, you can tap "Show Hint" during questions for grammar explanations.
Is my data synced across devices?+
Currently, data is stored locally on each device. If you back up your iPhone via iCloud or iTunes, your progress will be included in the backup.
