How do I reset my progress?
Go to Settings > Data Management > Reset All Progress. This will clear all your study data, bookmarks, and statistics.
Is my data synced to the cloud?
No, all your study data is stored locally on your device. This means your data is private and secure, but won't transfer to other devices automatically.
Can I export my study progress?
Yes, you can export your data in JSON format from Settings. This includes your sessions, progress statistics, and bookmarked questions.
What FIDIC books are covered?
The app covers the major FIDIC contract forms: Red Book (Construction), Yellow Book (Design-Build), Silver Book (EPC/Turnkey), Gold Book (DBO), and Green Book (Short Form).
Is this app affiliated with FIDIC?
No, FIDIC Exam Coach is an independent educational tool created by Takemeway Studio. It is not endorsed by or affiliated with the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC).
How does spaced repetition work in flashcards?
The app uses an algorithm that shows you cards at increasing intervals based on how well you remember them. Cards you rate as "Hard" appear more frequently, while "Easy" cards appear less often.
What's the difference between Practice and Mock Exam?
Practice mode lets you study at your own pace with immediate feedback. Mock Exam simulates real test conditions with a timer and shows results only at the end.
How do I bookmark questions?
While answering a question, tap the bookmark icon in the bottom right corner. Access your bookmarked questions from Practice > Bookmarked Questions.
Troubleshooting
The app is running slowly
Try force-closing the app and reopening it. If issues persist, make sure your iOS is updated to the latest version.
My progress disappeared
Progress is stored locally. If you deleted and reinstalled the app, your data would have been removed. Unfortunately, there's no way to recover locally-stored data.
